About Creative Curtains

Children feel scared, bored, and unwelcome, with sterile hospital curtains that can’t be personalized and aren’t creative to promote art therapy and visual healing.

My solution was to design a curtain valance that goes on the existing hospital curtain with eco friendly/bpa free pockets that can hold things and detach when the curtain is being washed. Hospitals can allow patients to take home the pockets with artwork they have created. We also have many other products to create artwork.

When I was a young child, I was very scared by the environment of hospitals when I went for a visit. The white walls, and bright, sterile atmosphere is very intimidating to other young patients I have talked to as well. I also knew they didn't have much to do to be creative during their stay, and this is how Creative Curtains was born.
